Speak Without Reading
Speaking from ideas rather than full sentences usually sounds more natural and makes it easier to connect with the audience.
Use keywords
Turn sentences into prompts.
A few words can remind you of an entire idea.
Memorize the route
Remember the order of ideas rather than exact wording.
This gives you flexibility when one sentence comes out differently.
Look up before speaking
If you need notes, glance down to find the next idea.
Then look up and explain it in your own words.
Example
Instead of a paragraph, your note might say: “3 reasons: cost / traffic / access.”
Common mistake
Memorizing every sentence and freezing when one exact phrase disappears.
Try this
Reduce one paragraph to five keywords and speak from those keywords only.
Keep in mind
Remember the idea, not the sentence.
